Innovative creative agency, GRIN, which is part-powered by talented people connected to Redditch, has been appointed to work on the new brand and website for the town’s dedicated creative and cultural programme, Reimagine Redditch.
Reimagine Redditch is a Creative People and Places programme, funded by Arts Council England, that is working in Redditch to develop and deliver creative activities for everybody, but especially for people who don’t regularly take part in culture. It’s led by local people, who develop activities and events with Redditch culture front and centre.
GRIN is partnering with Reimagine Redditch at a pivotal moment in Redditch’s journey as it builds up its cultural offer. The innovative agency won out after a rigorous selection process, which saw a number of specialist agencies in competition.
Hannah Farmer, Account Director at GRIN, said: "Redditch is a great town and we’re thrilled to be working with its people to help bring their creative visions to life. Redditch plays an important part in my own life, with relatives living locally, and the GRIN team is determined to help Redditch shine. We want everybody here to celebrate and share their pride in the town, especially its power to imagine, connect and create."
Dr Richard Bromhall, Programme Director at Reimagine Redditch, said: "It was clear from GRIN's pitch that they would be dedicated to Redditch communities and would push boundaries. The new brand and website will inspire people to create and help them to get involved. We can’t wait to share it with everybody very soon.
"Culture is essentially about expressing yourself and what you care about – whoever you are and wherever you’re from. We’re already seeing the creative talent around the borough and helping to spark new ideas about how we can all make the most of Redditch’s rich and diverse culture. We want everyone in Redditch to get involved and know what’s going on. Sign up to our mailing: http://bit.ly/3H7pS9q or visit the website https://reimagineredditch.org Let’s create."
